Play & Taste celebrates creativity through one of chocolate's most powerful qualities: taste.
But taste is about more than flavour alone. It is emotion, culture, memory and craftsmanship. It evolves through texture, movement, design and the stories chefs choose to tell.
This year's competition challenges finalists to rethink how chocolate is experienced; inviting them to surprise, delight and inspire through every creation.

Four creative challenges will test every aspect of a chocolatier's imagination, technical skill and ability to innovate.

Create two distinct bonbons, demonstrating harmony through flavour, texture, design and storytelling. -

Create a sculptural work of art, using form, balance and craftsmanship to communicate emotion through design.

Inspired by the movement and energy of Antwerp, create a fresh chocolate pastry that changes through flavour, texture and temperature, taking guests on a complete sensory journey. -
DAY TWO: Tuesday 27th OctoberSHARE – The Future of Giving
Design an innovative chocolate gifting concept that combines craftsmanship, consumer insight and commercial thinking to create an experience people want to share.
