Chef, this is where your journey begins. The National Selections will take place from January to December ‘24. This is the place where your chocolate vision will give you the chance to take you to the World Final in 2025.
- • You can apply until 3 months before your National or Regional Selection takes place.
- • To apply: fill in and send the form below.
- • The WCM chefs committee will review and assess all applications and inform all applicants in due time to prepare for the national or regional selections.

This competition is open to anyone who is working in the following sectors:
- Professional culinary training
with the exception of members of the International Ambassadors Club of Cacao Barry, Callebaut, Carma or Chocovic, and Barry Callebaut employees).
Contestants must have the legal age of at least 21 years by the time of the National Selection
Applicants must hold the nationality of the country where they apply, or they must have resided and worked there officially for a minimum of 1 year. When requested, they must provide the official residence documents.
National selections will be held in each of the mentioned countries: the winning finalist of each country will be represented in the world final.
Regional selections will give access to contestants from different countries in one regional competition: the winning contestant will represent the region in the world final (and participate under the national flag of the country he or she represents).
