Dutch national selection

Multiple competitions took place at the Kookerij Culinary College on preselection day. Patrick de Vries earned the title of Dutch Chocolate Master, Goos Burbach won the Young Talent contest and ten daredevils battled it out in a Black Box showdown. During the selections, visitors could participate in a flavour trip, a VR Or Noir session and multiple workshops by Marike van Beurden, Nils Hendrikse and Jurgen Koens. What the jury tasted

Muscovado, raspberry, verbena, passion fruit, lime and Mexique 66.1% by Patrick de Vries

Sichuan pepper, rhubarb, cherry, pecan, star anise and Zéphyr 34% by Goos Burbach
